Adult Fitness Groups

Mission Statement: We offer affordable, fun and progressive training to adults. We strive to improve health and promote active lifestyles among those we work with. This is our attempt to ‘bridge the gap’ and reach the individuals who want something more personal and progressive than a fitness class but don’t quite need personal/individual training. We offer well-rounded and properly-coached exercise protocols that come in various modes and intensities. We do our best to incorporate movement based and resistance exercises for core strengthening as well as isolated exercises for aesthetic purposes. Cardiovascular training is as much of our programs as any other part; we believe that the heart must be as strong as the muscles it supports; we will test it and train it. We also integrate and promote healthy decision making and guidance when it comes to nutritional and dietary needs.

Groups must be made up of similar populations (gender, age, training level, goals)
Groups are limited to 8 people per session
Adult Fitness Group Sessions are held Monday –Saturday 7am – 12pm
Current class itinerary (subject to change in accordance to goals of group):
  • 30 minute exercise protocol: movement, core, strength, balance, injury prevention, toning
  • + 15 minute cardiovascular intervals (3 X 5 minute blocks; 1 on 4 off >>> 4 on 1 off progression)
  • + 15 minute cool down cardio (light/moderate)

Exercise protocols and progressions are developed for 12 weeks
Measured and trained variables are decided by groups; the more we record…the more we know…
Bring a group, come in and sign up for an already existing group, or help jump start a new group.
